Our Onco360 Pharmacy in Waltham, MA is hiring a Full Time Pharmacist to work onsite. Schedule: Monday (off Tuesday) Wednesday-Friday 10:30‑7 PM EST and every other weekend 9‑5:30 PM EST.
Job Summary
Onco360 Pharmacy is a unique oncology pharmacy model that serves community, oncology and hematology physicians, patients, payers, and manufacturers. This role involves evaluating and managing medication orders, maintaining patient data, ensuring safe drug handling, and providing collaborative clinical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and route of administration. Make recommendations for therapy changes as appropriate.
- Maintain patient database, including current and past medical history, clinical and laboratory data, and concurrent medication (including OTC and home remedies).
- Ensure appropriate laboratory tests for monitoring high‑risk conditions are ordered, evaluated, and discussed with the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide clinical and technical support as needed.
- Document all communication with physicians, nurses, other team members, and patients.
- Implement policies and procedures for safe procurement, storage, distribution, and use of drugs and biologicals, including disposal.
- Obtain and maintain all required documentation per federal and state regulatory agencies.
- Inform the Pharmacy Manager of medication‑related errors.
- Assist facility/agency staff with procedures for safe and effective drug procurement, maintenance, administration, and disposal.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.

Education & Learning Experience
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
Work Experience
- Desired: One year experience in specialty pharmacy preferred
Skills & Knowledge
- Required: Knowledge of pharmacy laws, federal and state regulations. Ability to work cooperatively as a team member.
Licenses & Certifications
- Required: Current pharmacy license in the state of practice
- Desired: Multi‑state licenses preferred
