Haywood Regional, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Phlebotomist to join a mission-driven team. You will participate in interdisciplinary care, ensure accurate specimen collection, and support patient-centered services within a 24-hour hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Pharmacy (PharmD) is required.
• Active North Carolina pharmacy license is required.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire is required.
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire are required.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages drug therapy protocols as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential or actual drug-related problems.
• Provides drug information and education to medical staff, healthcare professionals, patients and pharmacy students.
• Documents interventions and their outcomes for drug therapy quality improvement efforts.
• Evaluates medication orders for accuracy and completeness prior to order entry.
• Checks for accuracy after filling by technicians.

Our 24-hour pharmacy offers opportunities to perform clinical pharmacy services for patients in various departments of the hospital, including ICU, PCU/Cardiac, and the Emergency Department. What we're looking for

Applicants should possess a Doctoral degree in Pharmacy (PharmD), along with a pharmacy license active in North Carolina. Additional requirements include:
