Job summary

To participate in the performance improvement, academic programs and clinical research activities of the department. To serve as a liaison to the medical and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Bachelor�s degree in Pharmacy -OR- Pharm D. degree (Doctor of Pharmacy)
• Preferred Education: Post-graduate residency training
• Necessary Skills: Attention to detail and ability to distinguish drug products.Fine motor coordination and manual dexterity.Computer skills and accuracy in calculations.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Supervision of technician employees.
• Required Licensure/Certifications: Registered Pharmacist in the state of Florida-OR-Eligible for Pharmacist license in the State of Florida within 90 days of the date of hire/transfer
• Required Experience: Less than one year pharmacist/intern experience
• Preferred Experience: Experience and/or advanced training in specific practice area
• Supervision: Supervisory responsibility of 3-18 employees
• Age of Patients Served:All age groups
