Job summary

Palmetto General Hospital in Florida is seeking a Pharmacist to ensure drug therapy needs of patients are met and medications are dispensed promptly and accurately. You will supervise supportive personnel and act as a drug information resource for staff and patients.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Pharmacy with a PharmD preferred, has hospital and acute care experience, strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, and a Florida pharmacist license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree preferred.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• Previous clinical experience in an acute setting preferred.
• Interpersonal and leadership skills preferred.
• Good organizational skills preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
