Job summary

Emerald Compounding Pharmacy, LLC in Tampa, FL is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to serve as the clinical backbone of our team, ensuring every compound dispensed is safe, effective, and tailored to the patient.

You will review prescriptions, dispense meds, counsel on longevity and metabolic health therapy, collaborate with prescribers, maintain USP 795/797/800 compliance, and mentor technicians while staying current with literature.

Qualifications

• PharmD or RPh required.
• Active Pharmacist license required.
• Must be able to commute to Tampa, FL (33647).

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and regulatory compliance.
• Dispense medications accurately while following safety standards.
• Counsel patients on longevity/metabolic health therapy, dosing and adherence.
• Collaborate with prescribers to support personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain USP 795/797 compliance and assist with QA protocols.
• Mentor and support pharmacy technicians on procedures.
• Stay current on clinical literature and compounding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and regulatory compliance
• Dispense prescription medications accurately while adhering to all legal, safety, and regulatory standards
• Counsel patients on longevity and metabolic health therapy, dosing, side effect management, and adherence
• Collaborate with prescribers to support individualized treatment plans
• Maintain USP 795/797 compliance and assist with quality assurance protocols
• Support and mentor pharmacy technicians on pharmacy procedures
• Stay current on clinical literature and evolving compounding guidelines

Qualifications

• PharmD / RPh
• Education: Doctorate (Required)
• License/Certification: Licensed Pharmacist (Required)
• Ability to Commute: Tampa, FL 33647 (Required)

Required Skills

• Knowledge of USP 795, 797, and 800 guidelines
• Strong attention to detail and a patient-first mindset
• Excellent communication and collaborative work ethic

Preferred Skills

• Experience in compounding pharmacy environment preferred
• Familiarity with met weight management protocols or metabolic health is a strong plus
