Job summary

Acts as liaison between allied health professionals and registered nurses in providing accurate and rational drug therapy to patients upon receipt of an allied health professional's order. Reviews order for dosing accuracy, drug selection, drug interactions, allergies, and appropriateness. Serves as a medical team consultant by participating in multidisciplinary rounds, committees, and workgroups.
