Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) invites a Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team in Breese, IL. This PRN position contributes to patient care by reviewing orders, ensuring dosing accuracy and safe drug interactions, and providing drug information to staff and patients.

The role supports multidisciplinary rounds, committees, and the hospital's patient-centered care standards. Licensing in the state is required or eligible; residency and board certification are preferred.

  • Graduate of accredited Pharmacy program; eligible for Pharmacist licensure.
  • Residency preferred.
  • Board Certification preferred.

Pay Range: $52.50 - $77.18

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Pharmacist to join our team. Acts as liaison between allied health professionals and registered nurses in providing accurate and rational drug therapy to patients upon receipt of an allied health professional's order. Reviews order for dosing accuracy, drug selection, drug interactions, allergies, and appropriateness. Serves as a medical team consultant by participating in multidisciplinary rounds, committees, and workgroups. Provides drug information to allied health professionals, nurses, patients, and the general public.

Education Qualifications
  • Pharmacy Required Meets educational requirements established in the state of practice
  • Graduate of accredited Pharmacy program; eligible for Pharmacist licensure in state of practice.
