Job summary

HealthCare Support Staffing, Inc. in Seymour, IN is seeking a Pharmacist to join a leading pharmacy. You will fill prescriptions, monitor inventory, counsel patients, and ensure secure storage of drugs, including controlled substances.

You’ll work with the PIC to set the schedule, with weekday hours 8am-8pm and weekend hours 9am-6pm (Sat) / 10am-5pm (Sun). Required: Bachelor's in Pharmacy and active pharmacist licensure. Preferred: 1 year retail experience and bilingual abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Current pharmacist licensure in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions, monitor inventory and ensure proper storage and security.
• Provide patient counseling and discuss medication adherence challenges.
• Maintain positive department image through service and cooperation with customers and vendors.
• Collaborate with PIC to establish schedule.
• Open hours: Weekdays 8 a.m.–8 p.m., Weekends 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Sat, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Sun.

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacist to fill an opening with one of the nation's leading pharmacies in Seymour, IN.

Daily Responsibilities for the Pharmacist:

• Fill prescriptions, monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage and security of drugs, including controlled substances/narcotics


• Provide patient counseling and discuss challenges to medication adherence


• Create a positive pharmacy department image through strong service, friendliness and cooperativeness with customers, associates and outside vendors


• You will work with the PIC to establish schedule


• Weekdays - Open from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.


• Weekends - Open from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturdays 10am - 5pm on Sundays

Required Qualifications for the Pharmacist:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy


• Current pharmacist licensure in good standing

Preferred Qualifications for the Pharmacist:

• 1 year of retail experience


• Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing)

Pay Details:

• Hourly Rate: $65.00 an hour - $69.00 an hour based on experience
