Job summary

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacist to fill an opening with one of the nation's leading pharmacies in Danville, KY.

Responsibilities include filling prescriptions, monitoring inventory and ensuring proper storage of drugs, while providing patient counseling to support medication adherence and a high level of service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required.
• Current pharmacist licensure in good standing is required.

Daily Responsibilities for the Pharmacist:

• Fill prescriptions, monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage and security of drugs, including controlled substances/narcotics
• Provide patient counseling and discuss challenges to medication adherence
• Create a positive pharmacy department image through strong service, friendliness and cooperativeness with customers, associates and outside vendor

Required Qualifications for the Pharmacist:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
• Current pharmacist licensure in good standing

Preferred Qualifications for the Pharmacist:

• 1 year of retail experience
• Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing)

Pay Details:

$65.00 an hour - $69.00 an hour based on experience (opportunity to negotiate a sign on bonus)
