Job summary

HealthCare Support Staffing, Inc. in Indiana is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our clinical team in Jeffersonville. You will verify prescriptions, perform Drug Utilization Reviews, and ensure accurate dispensing in a high‑production environment.

You will provide drug information to patients and coworkers, maintain compliance with federal and state regulations for controlled substances, and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize therapy.

Qualifications

• Must have clear and active Pharmacist license in IN.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D.
• Minimum 3 years of experience practicing as a Pharmacist.
• Extensive knowledge in drug information, disease state management, and legal requirements of pharmacy practices.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with healthcare providers.
• Must be a quick learner in a high production environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy of prescriptions translated by pharmacy technicians.
• Ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of a patient’s drug therapy through Drug Utilization Review, while meeting department standards for productivity and quality.
• Prepare, label and dispense medications (product verification).
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations pertaining to the dispensing of controlled substances and the maintenance of required records.
• Provide drug information to patients and co-workers.

Additional Information

Hours for this Position:

Monday-Friday 8:30am- 5:00pm

Pay range: $52.00- 56.00
