Job Title: Pharmacist

Location: Remote

Duration: 12+ months contract

Job Description:

As an RPh Advisor, you will support Medicare Part D members and providers with pharmacy benefits requests. Your responsibilities include setting up cases accurately, reviewing clinical information, conducting outreach to providers, and ensuring decisions comply with guidelines and timelines. Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with internal teams to answer clinical questions, gather medical data, and review cases according to health plan criteria within service level agreements. (20%)
2. Communicate case decisions to physicians, health plans, patients, and healthcare professionals following approval and denial processes. (20%)
3. Review ongoing cases and provide clinical decisions on Prior Authorizations, Tier Exceptions, and Non-Formulary requests. (50%)
4. Perform other duties as assigned, including on-call and after-hours pharmacist availability. (10%)

Experience:

• Current Pharmacist License in your state
• Experience with Prior Authorization
• Medicare experience
• Healthcare work experience

Education:

Bachelor's Degree required; PharmD and current state pharmacist license preferred.
