Job summary

Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy is hiring a Staff Pharmacist for our Phoenix, AZ location. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday 9AM–5:30PM with rotating Saturdays 10AM–2PM in a 100% employee-owned environment.

The Staff Pharmacist will verify multidose packaging, consult with healthcare teams, enter data accurately, review therapies for safety, administer injections, and participate in pharmacy committees while collaborating with team members to ensure timely and precise medication

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and dependable
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Effective communication with nurses, prescribers and other healthcare providers

Responsibilities

• Verify multidose medication packaging and MARs
• Provide consultations to nurses, prescribers and other healthcare providers
• Complete accurate pharmacy data entry
• Review medication therapies, interactions and clinical concerns
• Administer a variety of injections
• Participate in medication review committees as needed
• Work alongside pharmacists and technicians to keep medications accurate and on time

Neighborhood is now hiring a full-time Staff Pharmacist to join our team in Phoenix, AZ

Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy is a 100% employee-owned, closed-door pharmacy specializing in care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health needs.

The Day-to-Day

• Verify multidose medication packaging and MARs


• Provide consultations to nurses, prescribers and other healthcare providers

Requirements

The Must-Haves

• PharmD degree from an accredited institution


• Active Arizona pharmacist license in good standing, or ability to obtain before starting


• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
