Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in NY in good standing with all State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Formal training in non-sterile compounding or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in non-sterile compounding, veterinary preferred.
• Attention to detail with impeccable accuracy and quality.
• Collaborative and able to work in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Compound non-sterile medications, fill and label prescriptions.
• Counsel clients on medications, needs, usage, and instructions.
• Monitor inventory levels per USP 795 and state regulations.
• Collaborate with development team to guide product features and sales to clinics.
• Perform Care Pharmacist duties as needed.

Job description

• Compound non-sterile pharmaceutical preparations, including but not limited to the compounding of capsules, tablets, oral liquids and topical medications.
• Compound medications, fill and label prescriptions, and package medications - in other words, full-service compounding from chemicals to packaging.
• Counsel clients on different medications, needs, usages, and instructions.
• Keep accurate records and monitor inventory levels in accordance with USP 795, State Board of Pharmacy regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the development team to provide guidance on product features, participating in sales activities such as calling or visiting veterinary clinics.
• Perform Care Pharmacist duties on an as needed basis

About you

• You are a licensed pharmacist in NY, in good standing with all State Boards of Pharmacy
• You have formal training in non-sterile compounding or equivalent experience
• You have 2+ years of experience in non-sterile compounding, with preference given to veterinary compounding experience
• Your attention to detail is impeccable, and you have incredibly high standards for accuracy and quality
• You are collaborative and have a desire to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, startup environment
