Job summary

Onco360 Oncology Pharmacy in Houston, TX is seeking a Full Time Pharmacist for onsite work. Typical hours: Monday-Friday 10:30-7pm CST, plus alternating weekends schedule.

Starting salary range $127k annually and up depending on experience, with a $4.00 weekend shift differential and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for joining before Aug 31, 2026. Join a team dedicated to oncology care and patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy is required.
• One year retail pharmacy experience is desirable.
• Current license in the state of practice is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates physician medication orders for drug appropriateness, dosage, interactions and administration; suggests therapy changes to physician and staff.
• Maintains patient database with medical history, current and past medications and lab data.
• Ensures required laboratory monitoring for high-risk conditions is ordered and discussed with the healthcare team.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to provide clinical and technical support.
• Documents all communications with physicians, nurses, and patients.
• Implements policies for safe procurement, storage, distribution and disposal of drugs and biologics; maintains documentation per regulations.
• Notifies Pharmacy Manager of medication-related errors.
• Assists staff with safe medication procedures and related tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Friday-Wednesday and alternating weekends 8am-4:30 pm CST

Responsibilities

• Evaluates physician medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and route of administration. Makes recommendations for therapy changes to the physician and facility staff as appropriate.
• Maintains patient database to include appropriate current and past medical history, appropriate clinical and laboratory data, and concurrent medication (including over-the-counter and home remedies).
• Ensures that appropriate laboratory tests for monitoring certain high risk conditions are ordered, evaluated and discussed with appropriate members of the healthcare team.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to provide clinical and technical support as needed.
• Documents all communication with physicians, nurses, other members of the healthcare team and patients.
• Implements policies and procedures for the safe procurement, storage, distribution and use of drugs and biologicals, as well as disposal of drugs.
• Obtains, as necessary, and maintains all required documentation in accordance with federal and state regulatory agencies.
• Informs the Pharmacy Manager of medication related errors.
• Assists facility/agency staff personnel with procedures relating to safe and effective methods of procuring, maintaining, administering and disposing of drugs.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Education / Learning Experience

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy

Work Experience

• Desired: One year experience in retail pharmacy

Skills / Knowledge

• Required: Knowledge of pharmacy laws and federal and state regulations. Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.

Licenses / Certifications

• Required: Current license in the state of practice
• Desired: Ideal candidates will have multi-state licenses
