Job summary

JobRx, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist to join our California hospital team. You will provide patient-centered pharmaceutical care, ensuring patients understand their medication regimens and feel empowered to take control of their health.

Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and pharmacists to optimize treatment plans, maintain medication safety, and participate in education and community outreach while enjoying the tranquil mountain town setting.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current, active New Mexico Pharmacist license in good standing.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy, drug interactions, and medication safety.
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to help patients and families.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • A love for the mountains and a desire to be part of a tight-knit community.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaboration: Work closely with our team of doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of our diverse patient population.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance in all aspects of pharmacy operations, from medication dispensing to inventory management.
  • Education & Counseling: Offer clear, empathetic counseling to patients and their families, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources needed to manage their health at home.
  • Community Engagement: Participate in outreach efforts that extend the reach of our services beyond the hospital walls, supporting the health and wellness of the broader community.
