Job summary

Barrington James is seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist for a contract on-site role to launch a new sterile compounding site in the Atlanta, Georgia area.

You will lead cleanroom setup to USP 797/800, author SOPs, support licensing inspections, compound sterile preparations including peptides, and train the initial pharmacy team.

The assignment runs six to twelve months with potential for expansion as the group grows nationally.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia pharmacist license.
• Significant sterile compounding experience under USP 797, with 503A pharmacy background.
• Experience opening, commissioning or re certifying a sterile compounding facility.
• Comfortable with peptide compounding.
• Availability for an on site contract of six months or more.

Job description

We are currently supporting a well backed, newly launching sterile compounding pharmacy group in the Atlanta, Georgia area that is looking to engage a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist on a contract basis for its site launch.

This is a hands on launch role. You will help the pharmacy's leadership get the first site ready to open: cleanroom set up and certification, SOPs and USP 797 and 800 compliance, environmental monitoring, the first sterile batches and training the first team. The engagement is expected to run six to twelve months on site, with the option to grow with the group as further sites open across the country. This is not a maintenance role in an established pharmacy. It is a chance to build one from the start.

Hours: full time, on site, contract 6-12 months
