Job summary

Medical City Decatur, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a licensed Pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team. You will process and dispense medications and IV orders, provide clinical drug information, and participate in education for patients and staff. Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred, with Texas licensure required.

Responsibilities include supervising technicians, contributing to performance improvement efforts, and ensuring safe, effective medication use for patients in our care.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Under the general supervision of the Manager of Pharmacy, processes and dispenses medication/IV orders, provides routine clinical services and drug information, assists in performance improvement activities, supervises the activities of pharmacy technicians, participates in patient/staff education, and performs related duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

• Pharmacist
• Bachelors Degree, or Masters Degree, or Doctorate Degree
• Current RPh licensure from Texas State Board of Pharmacy
• Current RPh licensure from Texas State Board of Pharmacy
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
