Job summary

Medical City Decatur is seeking a Pharmacist to join its pharmacy team under general supervision. You will process and dispense medications and IV orders, provide clinical services and drug information, and participate in education for patients and staff.

Qualified candidates hold a Pharmacist license, a degree in pharmacy (Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate), and ideally hospital pharmacy experience. This PRN role is based in Decatur, TX within the HCA Healthcare network.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the general supervision of the Manager of Pharmacy, processes and dispenses medication/IV orders, provides routine clinical services and drug information, assists in performance improvement activities, supervises the activities of pharmacy technicians, participates in patient/staff education, and performs related duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

• Pharmacist
• Bachelors Degree, or Masters Degree, or Doctorate Degree
• Current RPh licensure from Texas State Board of Pharmacy
• Current RPh licensure from Texas State Board of Pharmacy
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
