IHA in Iowa seeks a licensed Pharmacist to provide distributive and clinical pharmaceutical services to patients and clinical staff at the Medical Center. You will oversee all functional areas and guide technical staff.

Responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, assessing identity and strength of medications, advising on drug interactions, and analyzing prescribing trends to ensure patient safety and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy is required.
  • Must be licensed as a Registered Pharmacist in the state of Iowa.

  • Maintain records, such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, charge system files, inventories, control records for radioactive nuclei, or registries of poisons, narcotics, or controlled drugs.
