Job summary

Coshocton Regional Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Pharmacist to support hospital operations on a per diem basis. The role covers diverse patient care across medicine, ICU, obstetrics, pediatrics, ER, and outpatient services, under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy.

The position requires a current Pharmacist license and hospital pharmacy experience is preferred; B.S. in Pharmacy or PharmD; BLS/ACLS preferred. Shifts are 10 hours, day shift, every third weekend.

Qualifications

• Current state Pharmacist license.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pharmacy department activities to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care.
• Ensure patient safety across services including General Medicine, ICU, and Emergency.
• Support obstetrics/gynecology and pediatrics patient care.
• Oversee peri-operative operations and oncology services.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to optimize outcomes.

Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety. The scope of patient care provided may include:
