Meijer is seeking a pharmacist to join its Sussex-based team, supporting patient care and education. The role involves filling prescriptions, leading pharmacy staff, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

The position offers flexibility as FT or PT, with a focus on expanding clinical services such as immunizations and providing high-quality customer care in a retail setting.

Qualificações

• Pharmacy degree and state license required.
• Immunization certification required (except Indiana).
• Retail/community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmacy systems and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Float Pharmacist position based in Sussex.
• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team to perform to the highest level.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in absence of the pharmacist in charge.
• Perform clinical services including immunizations where allowed.
• Adhere to Meijer Policies and Procedures and state/federal laws.

Formação académica

Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy

Registered and licensed in the state of practice

Certified Immunization Pharmacist

Retail/Community Practice

Working knowledge of pharmacy policies & procedures

This position must practice the profession of pharmacy in an environment that by philosophy and policy, promote patient care and education. This person must be patient directed, clinically oriented, and have a vision to take Meijer Pharmacy to the next level of patient care.

What You’ll be Doing?

• Float Pharmacist position based in Sussex
• We can accommodate as either FT or PT
• Fill prescriptions safely accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Hold pharmacy technicians accountable for results in an appropriate and effective manner and have a vision to expand and grow the pharmacy business.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Competent and knowledgeable of Meijer Policies and Procedures as well as state and federal laws.
• Effective communication skills and agent of change.
• Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
• Listen to the patient and resolve patient’s needs, customer service.
• In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, will be responsible for the pharmacy operations.
• Perform and oversee (where allowed) clinical services, including immunizations

What You Bring With You (Qualifications):
