Job summary

Ascension's Seton Medical Center Austin in Austin, TX, seeks a licensed Pharmacist for the Inpatient Pharmacy. The role supports patient safety, accurate dispensing, patient and staff education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. PRN rotating shifts offered.

Minimum requirements include Texas Pharmacist licensure and a Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Preferred are IV certification, hospital experience, and PGY1 training.

Qualifications

• Texas State Board of Pharmacy licensure required.
• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
• IV Certification; Hospital Experience; PGY1 Preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders to ensure patient safety and resolve potential drug-related issues.
• Compound and dispense medications with precision for timely treatment delivery.
• Educate patients and clinical staff on drug therapies to support informed decisions.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinicians to streamline comprehensive patient care.
• Lead technical pharmacy staff in preparation and maintenance of supplies to support workflow.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
