Job summary

Equity Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for a 74-bed behavioral health hospital in Anchorage, AK. The contract coverage position requires ASAp start and will continue until a permanent hire is made.

Location is Anchorage, AK, with a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule and potential weekend on-call coverage. Prior PIC experience and familiarity with Omnicell and HCS Web EMR are advantageous.

Qualifications

Acute care or behavioral health pharmacy experience preferred.
Ability to fulfill PIC responsibilities.
Experience with pharmacy operations and medication safety.

Support daily pharmacy operations.

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to provide pharmacy coverage and serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) at a 74-bed behavioral health hospital specializing in pediatric behavioral health and detox services.

Location: Anchorage, AK

Facility: North Star Behavioral Health Hospital

Start: ASAP – Contract coverage until a permanent hire is made

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

On-Call: Possible weekend coverag

Key Responsibilities

Medication order entry and drug monitoring
Omnicell checks and pharmacy oversight
Support daily pharmacy operations
Ensure safe and compliant medication management

Preferred Qualifications

Acute care or behavioral health pharmacy experience
Experience with HCS Web EMR and Omnicell is a plus, but not required
Ability to fulfill PIC responsibilities
