RPh on the Go is seeking a licensed pharmacist for an inpatient behavioral health assignment in Anchorage, AK. The role runs weekdays, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with on-call evenings and occasional weekends. It is a per diem engagement spanning 8 to 13 weeks, with potential extensions. Travel and housing costs are covered.

Responsibilities include order entry, Omnicell checks, and drug monitoring to ensure safe, effective use of medications. On-site orientation will be provided prior to start date.

Formación

• Licensed Pharmacist holding an active Alaska RPh Permit and registration.
• Acute care or behavioral health pharmacy experience is required.
• Experience working with Omnicell systems is preferred.
• Full travel and housing costs are covered to support relocation and assignment needs.
• Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with on-call evenings and occasional weekends.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide pharmacy services in a behavioral health inpatient setting. The position is based in Anchorage, AK, with a focus on delivering quality pharmaceutical care during daytime hours. The engagement is per diem, initially spanning 8 to 13 weeks, with a possibility of extension to continue contributing valuable support.

Key responsibilities include processing order entry, performing Omnicell checks, and conducting thorough drug monitoring to ensure safe and effective medication use. The shift runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with on-call duties during evenings and possible weekend coverage. A two-day orientation and training session will be provided prior to the start date to familiarize you with the workflows and systems.

Systems utilized in this role include HCS for order entry and Omnicell for automated medication dispensing, supporting efficient pharmacy operations.
