Job summary

French Consulting is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our team at the US Naval Hospital in Guam. You will deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services, counsel patients on medication use, and collaborate with providers to ensure safe, effective therapy in a mission-driven environment.

This full-time role starts immediately and supports U.S. military communities, requiring clinical excellence, accuracy, and strong teamwork to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college or university.
• One year of experience as a pharmacist within the last two years.
• Current, full, active, unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. state or territory.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of pharmacist procedures in accordance with facility capabilities.
• Counsel patients on appropriate medication use, safety, and therapy expectations.
• Review patient profiles at dispensing to closely monitor therapy and ensure clinical appropriateness.
• Verify prescription directions, dosing, drug interactions, allergies, therapeutic duplications, and age-specific considerations.
• Intervene with prescribing providers when discrepancies or safety concerns are identified.
• Ensure the accuracy of all pharmaceutical products prepared or processed by pharmacy technical staff.
• Compound medications as required.
• Maintain high standards of precision, sterility, and compliance.
• Oversee inventory control for all pharmaceuticals, with special attention to scheduled substances.
• Ensure pharmacy security and maintain accurate records in accordance with all regulatory requirements.
• Uphold strict control and documentation of scheduled and controlled substances.
