This is an excellent opportunity to join a global GMP pharmaceuticals organisation in a USA Pharmaceutical Site Head / General Manager appointment. You will provide senior leadership across operational delivery, customer service, quality, commercial performance, financial management, engineering, facilities and people management to ensure the business operates safely, compliantly, and profitably while supporting future growth and service expansion.
Degree / Major in - Pharmaceuticals, Biology, Chemistry, life sciences or related engineering subjects

Site P&L performance cost management with a strong financial and commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing and profitability management.
The key responsibilities
- Lead and manage all GMP operational activities across US Life Sciences Supply Chain storage, sample management and controlled storage services.
- Develop and deliver business strategies that support growth, profitability, operational excellence and customer retention.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, quality standards, customer requirements, internal procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership during customer audits, regulatory inspections and quality reviews.
- Oversee capacity planning, utilisation and operational performance across all site / facilities and associated infrastructure.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, service delivery and customer experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a senior escalation point where required.
- Overall general management ensuring adherence to company procedures policies, safety standards, and regulatory frameworks (ISO 9001, CAP, ICH Q1A/Q1B, cGMP as applicable).
- Support commercial growth through customer engagement, contract negotiations, proposals, tenders and service development activities.
- Work closely with Business Development, Customer Service and Operations teams to identify new opportunities and strengthen customer partnerships.
- Manage business performance against budget, revenue, profitability and growth objectives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, investment planning and cost control activities.
- Monitor and report on key business performance indicators and operational metrics.
- Ensure effective recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, training and performance management processes are in place.
- Identify, assess and manage operational, commercial, quality, regulatory and business risks.
- Serve as the US QA Manager, overseeing regulatory compliance, e-QMS execution, and site-level governance across all US sites.
- Conduct routine site visits (all US sites) to verify process adherence, data accuracy, and compliance to Local and Global quality policies and procedures.
Person Specification
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within GMP, pharmaceutical services, life sciences, biorepository, storage, logistics, laboratory services or controlled environments.
- Demonstrable experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across operational, commercial and support functions.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing and profitability management.
- Degree / Major in Quality, Pharmaceuticals, Biology, Chemistry, life sciences or related engineering subjects
