Xeris Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Pharmaceutical Sales & Training Intern to support Sales and Training teams in a hands‑on, project‑driven role in Chicago.
You will assist with field exposure, sales enablement, CRM activities, and training coordination while gaining insight into territory management and customer engagement. The internship includes a capstone project, collaboration with cross‑functional teams, and exposure to competitive market research.
The Pharmaceutical Sales & Training Intern will support the Sales and Training teams through a combination of field exposure, sales enablement, commercial operations, training support, and project-based work. This role provides a hands‑on opportunity to gain experience within a pharmaceutical commercial organization while contributing to key business priorities and initiatives. The intern will work closely with members of the Sales, Training, and Marketing teams to support day‑to‑day execution, maintain customer engagement, analyze business information, and develop resources that enable field teams to be successful.

The intern will complete a defined capstone project addressing a current Sales or Training business need. Working with guidance from team members, the intern will own the project from initial research and analysis through final presentation. Potential project areas may include:
Position may require periodic evening and weekend work, as necessary to fulfill obligations. Periodic overnight travel. This role is based in Xeris’ Chicago office and requires five days per week in the office. On‑site requirement may change at management’s discretion. #LI-ONSITE
The anticipated hourly wage for this position is $22.50- $29.00. We are committed to offering competitive compensation. Starting pay is determined based on a variety of factors, including the role, job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, education, internal equity, market data, and the location of the role, where applicable.
Employees are eligible for equity or long‑term incentive awards, where applicable. Field Sales role employees are eligible for a quarterly commission structure. Non‑Sales role employees are eligible for an annual bonus. Details about these and other offerings will be provided at the time a conditional offer of employment is made.
