Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative

Pay Range: $24.09 - $29.69
Shift/Time Zone: Mon-Fri 8 am - 5 pm
Job Description:
- The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is the face of our company to patients, providing quality service during health routines or health decisions.
- Draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing following established procedures.
- Creates a trusting environment by explaining procedures clearly and drawing blood skillfully, safely, and accurately.
- Demonstrates leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information.
- Assignments may include working in a doctor's office, patient service center, or as needed.
- Performs daily activities accurately under supervision, maintaining a safe, professional environment.
- Handles forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing per protocols.
- Verifies patient demographic info and labels tubes in the presence of the patient.
- Maintains accurate records and documentation.
- Promotes a positive image and organizational commitment to patients, clients, and staff.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to deliver error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Works independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy skills.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
- Adherence to policies, dress code, safety, and principles of excellence.
- Good judgment and decision-making skills based on established procedures.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record if applicable.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours across multiple locations.
- Capable of handling multiple priorities in high-volume settings.
- Superior customer focus with open communication and adaptability to change.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.
- At least three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
- Customer service experience and keyboard/data entry skills preferred.
Additional Details:
Work hours: M-F 8 am-5 pm, rotating Saturday.
