Join Syneos Health as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative (PSR) and become part of a fast-paced, challenging environment where our compassion and dedication drive us to meet the unique needs and goals of our customers. The PSR role is responsible for building relationships with recognized experts, healthcare providers (HCPs), and prioritized stakeholders. This role will be integrated with a large biopharmaceutical company and work alongside company team members. Day-to-day coaching and direction will be provided by client managers in partnership with the Syneos FTM.

The successful PSR will:

  1. Achieve and/or exceed targeted sales goals in an assigned territory by developing, implementing, and executing an integrated territory business plan encompassing key accounts with the goal of maximizing sales.
  2. Identify key influencers and achieve designated customer interaction expectations with a focus on top target customers.
  3. Plan and organize activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the territory according to a plan of action.
  4. Deliver clinical, brand-specific presentations of products to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  5. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare delivery system within each assigned customer, including physician hierarchy, key pharmacy personnel, and clinical nursing staff.
  6. Develop deep product and competitor knowledge, along with understanding of local and regional market trends.
  7. Analyze local trends, identify long- and short-term goals, and craft a strong product business plan.
  8. Collaborate with peers in sales, brand teams, and support partners to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  9. Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities.
  10. Complete all administrative tasks promptly.
  11. Execute the company brand strategy and tactics within the assigned geographic area.
  12. Participate in training and development programs.
  13. Maintain adherence and compliance with all corporate and industry policies and procedures.

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree required; Life Sciences degree preferred.
  • Sales experience (internship, B2B, or pharma).
  • Ability to identify key decision makers, develop positive relationships, and demonstrate strong customer dedication.
  • Ability to learn, apply, and communicate product and disease state knowledge.
  • Proven success in exceeding results.
  • Team player capable of working independently, highly collaborative, and motivated.
  • Strong communication, business analytics, and account management skills.
  • Reside within the territory or within its boundaries.

Desired qualifications:

  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical experience.
  • Experience selling SGLT2 or GLP1 for diabetes preferred.
  • Business-to-business sales experience or internship and/or sales degree.
