Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Pharmaceutical Sales Intern to join the Scottsdale/Phoenix/Mesa/Gilbert/Chandler/Glendale/Peoria team in Arizona. You will train in selling skills, engage with customers under a mentor, and participate in clinical discussions as part of a hands-on internship.

The program targets current undergrad/grad students, with graduation windows May 2027–Aug 2027. Eligible students must be enrolled throughout the internship and meet GPA/credit-hour requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be an enrolled student for the duration of the internship.
• Eligibility includes legal work authorization in the United States.
• Rising junior or senior status with graduation windows May 2027–Aug 2027.
• Strong academic performance expected (GPA 3.0+).

Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovativePharmaceutical Sales Internto join our diabetessales team in one of our nine national regions.You will work with a team of experienced sales professionals who will guide you through a real world, hands-on experience in selling pharmaceuticals.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate and successfully complete training and selling skills development
• In partnership with a mentor/coach, engage with customers and participate in clinical discussions (including Virtual Engagements)
• Attend weekly conference calls with regional field sales to capture learnings and gain valuable insights
• Schedule appointments for sales colleagues and participate in in-service programs

Requirements

• Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing
  • December 2027 – May 2029 graduates only (rising Junior or Senior)
• Student must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for the duration of the internship.
• Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred
• Major or minor in related field of internship
• Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university
• Graduate and Advanced Degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work the full duration of the internship: May 17, 2027 – August 13, 2027. No exceptions.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
• Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
