Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Pharmaceutical Sales Intern for the Dallas/Ft. Worth area to gain hands-on experience in selling pharmaceuticals. You will train with a team of seasoned sales professionals and participate in clinical discussions, virtual engagements, and field calls.

The internship runs May 17, 2027 – August 13, 2027, with mentorship and structured selling skills development. Candidates must be students in good standing with applicable credit hours and GPA requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing.
• GPA 3.0 minimum preferred (on a 4.0 scale).
• December 2027 – May 2029 graduates only (rising Junior or Senior).
• Enrolled at an accredited college or university for the duration of the internship.
• Undergraduate students: 12+ credit hours completed at current college/university.
• Graduate/Advanced degree students: 9+ credit hours completed at current college/university.

Responsibilities

• Participate and successfully complete training and selling skills development.
• In partnership with a mentor/coach, engage with customers and participate in clinical discussions (including Virtual Engagements).
• Attend weekly conference calls with regional field sales to capture learnings and gain valuable insights.
• Schedule appointments for sales colleagues and participate in in-service programs.

• Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred
• Major or minor in related field of internship
• Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university
• Graduate and Advanced Degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work the full duration of the internship: May 17, 2027 – August 13, 2027. No exceptions.
