Position: Territory Manager - Albany, GA CMH

The Territory Manager will be responsible for account-based selling to healthcare providers (HCPs) who prescribe and influence treatment decisions within the Lilly portfolio. This includes engaging with various HCP specialties and hospital account representatives, serving as a credible expert and resource supporting all medicines and appropriate patient care within the territory.

The role involves driving results by utilizing Lilly's sales, competency, and account management models to meet customer needs through effective execution. Building relationships with key customers to promote medicine utilization and adoption for suitable patients is essential. Key responsibilities include:

Business Ownership
  • Promote the full portfolio of priority products across multiple HCP specialties.
  • Understand and evaluate the marketplace to tailor strategies for business growth.
  • Navigate healthcare and payer landscapes to influence stakeholders and establish trusted partnerships.
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and obstacles.
  • Adopt new technologies, including AI tools, to enhance customer interactions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and foster a growth mindset.
Selling Skills / Customer Experience
  • Use Lilly’s selling, competency, and account management models to enhance performance.
  • Quickly learn about disease states, market dynamics, clinical trials, and product labels.
  • Engage in patient-centered dialogues with customers to promote the portfolio.
Execution / Results
  • Promote across the portfolio and HCP specialties, ensuring consistent practices within the regional healthcare market.
  • Achieve sales and performance metrics while complying with policies.
  • Manage customer relationships for product promotion, medical inquiries, and market access.
  • Own results across all accounts, from individual HCPs to large health systems.
  • Build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to foster trust and success.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • State-specific professional certification or license, if required.
  • Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Authorized to work full-time in the US; Lilly does not sponsor visas.

  • Experience with account-based selling and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong learning agility, motivation, emotional intelligence, and team orientation.

The salary range for this position is $63,000 - $138,600, with eligibility for bonuses and comprehensive benefits, including 401(k), health insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs. Compensation is based on education, experience, skills, and location. Lilly reserves the right to modify benefit programs at its discretion.
