Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical process development or manufacturing engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with process scale-up, validation, and optimization of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of GMP, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols within the pharmaceutical industry.

About the Role

Our client seeks a skilled and proactive Pharmaceutical Process Development Engineer to join their team in Welkom . This role is central to optimizing and scaling up manufacturing processes for new and existing pharmaceutical products. You will leverage your engineering expertise to improve efficiency, yield, and robustness of production methods, ensuring that products can be manufactured consistently and cost-effectively at commercial scale. The position requires a strong understanding of chemical engineering principles as applied to pharmaceutical manufacturing, as well as a commitment to innovation and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct pilot-scale studies and analyze data to define critical process parameters (CPPs) and establish control strategies.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing process issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to improve yield and reduce waste.
• Prepare process development reports, validation protocols, and process descriptions for regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Operations teams to ensure smooth technology transfer and successful scale-up.
• Implement and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations throughout all process development activities.
