Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform a mix of manual and automated tasks including receipt, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of product in a fast-paced environment in Chicago, IL. You will ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with GxP and safety standards while supporting multiple areas of the operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of related experience preferably within a pharmaceutical operations setting.
• Ability to read and understand training documents, product labeling and warehouse signage written in English.
• Pass medical screening and background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with policies and procedures to maintain training, safety, GxP, and governmental standards.
• Process paperwork accurately per policies and procedures.
• Cross-train in multiple areas of the operation with low error rates.
• Receive and inspect inbound product/material for OD&S (overages, shortages, damages).
• Pick customer orders for shipment ensuring correct product and quantity.
