Job summary

AbbVie in North Chicago, IL seeks a Warehouse Associate I for a Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm shift. This full-time role encompasses receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping products, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and standards.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, can lift 50 lbs+, operates forklifts and RF scanners, and thrives in a fast-paced, team environment with strong attention to detail and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass medical screening and background checks.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to fast changing work demand.
• Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced positive team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, general computer skills and RF scanners.
• Able to lift 50 lbs., and/or more with assistance.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment including forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Comply with policies and procedures to maintain training, safety, GxP, and governmental standards.
• Accurately process paperwork per policies and procedures.
• Adapt to fast changing work demand.
• Cross-train in multiple areas of the operation with low quality mistakes.
• Receive and inspect inbound product for OS&D.
• Pick customer orders accurately for shipment.
• Transfer and locate material to storage or shipping locations.
• Verify quantity and address with the customer’s order for complete shipments.
