Job summary

Siegfried USA is seeking a qualified Utility Engineer in New Jersey to support and optimize site utility systems including steam, condensate, chilled water, HVAC, nitrogen, purified water, and wastewater. You will partner with Maintenance and Operations to improve reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a BS in engineering and 3–5 years of manufacturing utility experience; reading P&IDs; CMMS familiarity; and strong communication.

Qualifications

BS Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
3–5 years in utility engineering, maintenance, or facilities engineering in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering support for site utility systems (steam, condensate, chilled water, HVAC, nitrogen, purified water, wastewater).
Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, safety, and compliance.
Assist with troubleshooting, corrective actions, and preventive maintenance programs.
Support capital/expense projects with scope, design, equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and turnover.
Review drawings, P&IDs, specs, documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate with Maintenance and Operations to plan outages and shutdowns.
Ensure compliance with cGMP, SHE, regulatory standards and change control processes.
