Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales experience.
• Demonstrated business acumen.
• Demonstrated success in influence and negotiation skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong verbal, interpersonal and listening skills.
• Ability to travel throughout territory (may include overnight travel).
• Must reside in territory geography.

Responsibilities

• Develop business plan for assigned territory consistent with Viatris sales plans and objectives.
• Conduct quality sales presentations to targeted customers.
• Achieve quarterly sales goals within territory while adhering to ethical practices and regulations.
• Understand and demonstrate targeting principles.
• Develop pre-call planning strategy for key targets.
• Build positive relationships with peers, customers, and company managers.
• Ensure high levels of call and field productivity.
• Gather information from offices, pharmacists and others to develop strategies for territory prescribers.
• Leverage sample programs, literature and other items to raise physician awareness of Viatris products.
• Respond to customer requests timely with accurate information.
• Pursue continuous learning and professional development in sales, communication, and product knowledge.
