Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales experience.
• Strong business acumen and demonstrated success in influence and negotiation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong verbal, interpersonal and listening skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver results.
• Willingness to travel throughout territory; valid Driver's License and driving record required.
• Professional or Senior leveling based on experience in pharmaceutical sales.
• Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop business plan for assigned territory aligned with Viatris sales plans and objectives.
• Conduct quality sales presentations to targeted customers.
• Achieve quarterly sales goals within territory while adhering to ethical practices and regulations.
• Understand and demonstrate targeting principles; develop pre-call planning strategy for key targets.
• Build positive relationships with peers, customers and company managers.
• Ensure high levels of call and field productivity; gather market insights to tailor strategies for prescribers.
• Leverage samples, literature and other items to raise physician awareness of Viatris products.
• Respond promptly to customer requests with consistent information; pursue ongoing professional development.
