Fresenius Kabi in Wilson, North Carolina seeks a process development professional to design, develop, and optimize pharmaceutical and biological processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and smooth technology transfer from research to manufacturing.

You will troubleshoot production issues, conduct tests, and collaborate with pilot-plant and production teams to improve efficiency, quality, and yield while staying informed of regulatory requirements and industry advances.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing new or revised pharmaceutical/biological processes taking into consideration problems inherent in the transfer of technology from research to manufacturing
• Developing procedures for economical mass production in cooperation with pilot-plant and production departments
• Conducting tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over applicable variables
• Servicing, troubleshooting, and solving production process problems with processes or equipment already in operation
• Preparing and maintaining reports to ensure the plant's processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations
• If applicable: Recommending acquisition and use of new technological equipment and materials
