Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. invites you to join the MSBDA internship within our Manufacturing Division for hands-on experience in project management, change management and cross-functional collaboration. The program spans 10 to 12 weeks, starting late May or early June 2027, offering exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing and strategic initiatives.

You will develop business acumen, work with stakeholders, and gain insight into global manufacturing operations in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Previous pharma/animal health industry experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Digital-first mindset with interest in AI tools and automated workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support strategy development aligned with stakeholder requirements.
• Assist in pre-negotiation planning and post-analysis.
• Help manage contracts and commitments for compliance.
• Leverage data analytics and visualization to identify spend trends.
