Job summary

fitspr in Puerto Rico (Manatí) seeks a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with at least five years in a maintenance role within the pharmaceutical industry to join our team.

You will support predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance for critical biopharmaceutical equipment, assist with reliability assessments and investigations, and collaborate with Engineering, Validation, Operations and Quality to improve equipment availability and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least five years experience in maintenance in a pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and optimization of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance programs for critical biopharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Assist Engineering and Maintenance teams with equipment reliability assessments, troubleshooting, failure investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze equipment performance and maintenance information to help identify reliability risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Validation, Operations, and Quality teams throughout the equipment lifecycle.
• Support equipment activities during design reviews, commissioning, startup, and IQ/OQ/PQ.
• Assist in developing maintenance strategies that improve equipment availability, reliability, maintainability, and cost effectiveness.
