Job summary

Colorcon North Wales is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead the QC laboratory activities across West Point and Harleysville operations. The role ensures analytical testing, raw materials, finished products, and stability testing meet safety and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement, manage a team of scientists, and partner with Manufacturing, QA, Regulatory, and EHS to align QC capabilities with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline required.
• Minimum 5 years laboratory experience and 3+ years QC management.
• Proven leadership of a technical lab team in a regulated setting.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP/cGLP and lab quality systems.
• Experience with ERP and digital lab tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of chemists and analysts.
• Ensure all lab activities comply with cGMP/cGLP and safety requirements.
• Maintain data integrity and document controls.
• Drive QC performance metrics and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, QA, regulatory, and site leadership.
• Prepare for internal, customer, regulatory, and global audits.
