Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC, is seeking a Project Portfolio Manager to support the PPM process, manage budgets, and coordinate Steering Group activities. You will help standardize materials, assist with prioritization, and support project execution across multiple sites.

The role requires a Bachelor's in PM/Business, 3+ years in manufacturing (pharma preferred), and experience guiding senior leadership. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in PM, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience, preferably pharmaceuticals.
• Minimum 2 years project management or change management experience.
• Advanced user of MS Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
• Experience with Clarity or similar portfolio management tools preferred.
• Minimum 1 year advising senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support site PPM process, maintain portfolios in Clarity, manage changes and investment applications.
• Coordinate STG meetings, standardize materials and approach across director areas.
• Assist in PPM prioritization and planning aligned with budget cycles.
• Support PMs in execution, STG presentations and gate preparation for site portfolio projects.
• Develop and maintain PPM metrics and monthly status reporting.
• Maintain PPM training materials and provide training on PPM processes.
• Maintain Clarity governance site and serve as Clarity Super User.
