Job summary

Bora Pharmaceuticals is seeking a seasoned Project Manager II to lead cross-functional project management for development, tech transfer, and commercial manufacturing at our Minnesota site. You will manage budgets, client communications, and change orders while coordinating with BD and operations to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires on-site presence three to four days per week, with travel for client visits as needed. Qualifications include a B.S./B.A.

Qualifications

• B.S / B.A. degree in Project Management, Business or a related pharmaceutical sciences field or equivalent experience in regulated industry. PMP certification preferred.
• 6+ years cGMP experience in solid oral dose pharmaceutical manufacturing or related fields.
• Comprehensive understanding of finance – invoicing, financial forecasting, and planning impact in pharma manufacturing operations.
• 6+ years’ experience managing relationships between providers / suppliers and clients.
• Experience working with FDA and regulatory inspections desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills across functions and with multiple clients.
• Proven, effective communication skills, oral and written.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting with minimal supervision.
• Ability to make sound decisions regarding compliance-related issues with minimal supervision; proactive risk mitigation.
• Demonstrated personal accountability with delivery-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated, cross-functional project management of development, technical transfer, and operational activities across the product lifecycle at the manufacturing site.
• Maintain client engagement model and governance with internal and external groups.
• Ensure milestones and budgets are met, including pass-through and change order costs.
• Organize client visits, due diligence, and plant-based interactions.
• Forecast and manage project budgets; ensure changes are captured timely.
• Lead internal/external meetings; provide timely feedback to partners.
• Coordinate escalation for client matters within the management team and site leadership.
• Promote safe and compliant execution with EH&S collaboration.
