Job summary

Fort Point LLC seeks a Project Controls Lead for a leading EPC in the pharmaceutical sector. You will provide leadership of the project controls organization and act as the client's primary advisor on controls, governance, cost estimates, and reporting.

You will guide forecasting, risk analysis, and performance measurement across capital projects, ensuring accurate reporting and integration with engineering, CQV, startup, and GMP milestones. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of project controls experience in pharma/regulated industries.
• Experience leading integrated project controls organizations on large capital projects (>$500M TIC).
• Knowledge of cost management, scheduling, EVM, risk management, change management, and performance measurement.
• Ability to advise senior leadership on performance and strategic decisions.
• Understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project delivery processes.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish and govern project controls systems, processes, standards, and reporting frameworks.
• Lead all project controls functions: estimating, cost management, scheduling, risk, change, and reporting.
• Ensure accuracy and integration of cost, schedule, and performance data.
• Provide executive performance assessments, forecasts, risk insights, and corrective actions.
• Integrate milestones from engineering, CQV, startup, and GMP readiness into reporting and dashboards.
• Provide independent oversight of EPC/EPCM contractor cost, schedule and forecasting reporting.
• Build and lead a high-performing project controls organization.
