Job summary

Hovione in New Jersey is hiring an Associate Operator to support pharmaceutical manufacturing activities. The role requires secondary education, mandatory training, and experience in a production environment. You will handle GMP/HSE compliant tasks, operate and calibrate equipment, and document activities accurately.

The candidate should have strong communication skills, basic English proficiency, and be able to work shifts. SAP, LIMS, SchedulePro and XNET are among systems used.

Qualifications

• Full secondary school qualifications or equivalent (mandatory).
• Experience in manufacturing or production environment (mandatory).
• Knowledge of process systems used in fine chemicals or pharmaceutical operations (mandatory).
• Completion of mandatory Operator training (mandatory).
• Understanding of Hovione unit operations (mandatory).
• Clear communication skills (written and verbal).
• English language competence (highly desirable).
• Ability to work in shift patterns and be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Execute production/HSE tasks in line with procedures and instructions.
• Work under supervision to perform production/HSE processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation for responsibilities.
• Advocate safe operations and high-quality performance.
• Participate in audits and area document reviews.
• Ensure equipment is identified, calibrated and used correctly.
• Support training and onboarding of new staff and transfers.
