Job summary

Veranova is seeking a Production Lead to operate production equipment, manage a shift of technicians, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

The role requires 3–5 years in a STEM field with related GMP knowledge. Collaboration with QA, QC, Maintenance, and other departments is essential, and experience with Kilo-Lab/plant production is desirable. You may rotate through responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• AA/BA or equivalent in a STEM field with 3–5 years experience, or HS diploma with Pharmaceutical Certification with 7–10 years experience.
• Experience in a production Kilo-Lab or Plant; basic production lab skills desirable.
• Strong leadership to direct a work group; attention to detail and multitasking.
• Reading, analyzing, and interpreting English-language materials; clear written and verbal communication; GMP/FDA regulation knowledge a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and oversee shift technicians.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and production schedules; coordinate with QA, QC, Purchasing, Maintenance, and Material Control.
• Maintain documentation, handover reports, and reports on material usage and safety investigations.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to ensure equipment is in good condition and properly labeled; uphold 5S standards in a pharmaceutical environment.
• Assist and cover Production Supervisor as needed; participate in Emergency Response Team.
