Job summary

Veranova seeks a Group Leader for our Devens, MA facility to operate production equipment, manage kilo chemists on shift, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time production. This 100% on-site role rotates 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts and requires coordinating closely with QA/QC and other support functions.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, regulatory compliance (FDA CGMPs, DEA), and robust documentation across the kilo-lab operations. A dedicated team environment and career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• AA/BA or equivalent in STEM with 3-5 years experience.
• High School Diploma and/or Pharmaceutical Certification or equivalent with 7-10 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kilo-lab shift operations, ensuring safety, compliance, performance, and production goals.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, Purchasing, Maintenance, and Material Control to support operations.
• Direct kilo chemists on shift and act as supervisor in absence of Production Supervisor.
• Maintain GMP documentation and ensure training of staff is completed on time.
• Ensure proper handling of controlled substances and adherence to DEA regulations.
