AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Chief Procurement Manager for a pharmaceutical manufacturing program across multiple U.S. locations including VA.

The role leads procurement oversight, vendor qualification, and contract management for a greenfield mega campus, providing strategic direction and expert services on world-class projects. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in capital projects, GMP-aware procurement practices, and strong leadership to drive schedule governance and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) with significant experience in contract and procurement administration or supply chain.
• 15+ years in contract and procurement administration or supply chain management.
• Quantity Surveyor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff coordination and directly supervise the procurement team.
• Oversee subcontractor & equipment bidding processes and clarify bid requirements.
• Participate in bid evaluations to ensure accuracy of bids.
• Ensure solutions meet technical requirements and tenders follow best practices.
• Perform supplier and subcontractor vetting per policy.
• Review scopes of work in bid packages and align with project needs.
• Identify long-lead items and set procurement timelines.
• Draft, review and manage procurement contracts and purchase orders.
• Monitor supplier performance for contract compliance and quality.
• Oversee procurement and contract administration of major equipment packages.
• Coordinate engineering, QA/QC, suppliers, and construction to maintain schedules.
