Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Chief Procurement Manager - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing to lead owner-side procurement across multiple packages for a greenfield pharma campus. This senior role governs procurement schedules, vendor qualification, and GMP-aligned contracting for an Alabama/Virginia project with a strong compensation package.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in contract/procurement administration, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of pharma or heavy process industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with five years of business experience in contract and procurement administration or supply chain.
• 15+ years of experience in contract and procurement administration or supply chain.
• Quantity Surveyor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff co-ordination and workload and directly supervises and mentors the procurement team as a subject matter expert.
• Work closely with the Firm during the subcontractor & equipment bidding process to clarify bid requirements and ensure transparency.
• Participate in joint bid evaluations and discussions to confirm the accuracy and completeness of submitted bids.
• Ensure all solutions meet technical requirements and commercial tenders are in accordance with best ethical practices.
• Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts and purchase orders.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure contract compliance and quality standards.
• Oversee the procurement and contractual administration of major equipment packages, confirming technical, commercial, and delivery requirements are met.
